HANNOVER Finanz Austria invests in medium-sized companies in structurally sound, stable and growing industries. The private equity house is active in the market for both, minority holdings (funding growth) and majority holdings (management buy-outs/buy-ins and succession of ownership).

HANNOVER Finanz Austria has no preconceived preference as to the particular kind of industry invested in. The companies concerned may act in any sector – manufacturing, trading, service – and should already be turning over at least € 20 million p.a. The quality of company management is one of the main points of interests.

As an investor providing equity, HANNOVER Finanz Austria does not interfere in the day-to-day running business. However, the private equity partner wants to participate in strategic decision-making processes at board level. The main objective is increasing the value of the company where capital is invested in.
The investment timescale is long-term, as HANNOVER Finanz Austria´s own investors put their capital in the hands of the private equity house for an unlimited period rather than in fixed-term funds.
